St Cloud Presbyterian Music Ministry & Worship Arts
We’re told repeatedly in the Psalms to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord” and the Music Ministry & Worship Arts of St Cloud Presbyterian is committed to offering worshipers many opportunities to fulfill that command. We strive to prepare gatherings for worship that are Christ-exalting, transformational, and display the unity of the Spirit. If you sing or play an instrument we’d love to have you join us in offering a joyful noise to our Lord. Listed below are some of those opportunities. Joining any of these groups is easy. Just show up. Bring a friend too.
The Chancel Choir: This group serves as the principle choir in worship. The choir sings a diverse repertory of sacred music from gospel and world music to anthems ranging from every period of time. The choir also lifts their voice to the Lord in an original Christmas Worship experience in mid-December, as well as a traditional oratorio presentation during the Lenten season.
The Chancel Musicians: Worship soloists and resident ensemble musicians can be seen participating from September through June in our 10:00 a.m. worship service, Christmas Worship Experience mid-December, and a traditional oratorio presentation during the Lenten season.
